Job description

Job Description:-

The CMMs will be responsible for implementing the programme at the grassroots level in the ULB with the following key functions:

Scheme Implementation: Ensure effective and timely implementation of the scheme in the concerned ULB and supervise the performance of RPs.

Support to Municipal Leadership: Assist the Municipal Commissioner/Executive Officer in operationalizing, monitoring, and reviewing various components of the scheme.

Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate with key stakeholders including Resource Persons and facilitate linkages with schemes under SVANidhi Se Samriddhi at the ULB Level.

 Information, Education & Communication (IEC): Plan and implement IEC activities to raise awareness and improve outreach of the scheme among stakeholders and beneficiaries.

Capacity Building & Partnerships: Manage and implement various capacity building activities for ULBs/district officials, resource persons, street vendors etc.

\Fund Monitoring: Monitor scheme finances at the ULB level.

\ Data Management: Ensure timely and accurate updating of beneficiary and scheme-related data on the MIS portal.

Additional Duties: Any other responsibility or task as assigned by the State/UT/ULB in line with overall mission framework

Experience:- 

Minimum 3 years of professional experience

The SMM & CMM shall have experience in programme implementation, planning and monitoring preferably in the domain of:

   Urban development, poverty alleviation, livelihood promotion, or micro-enterprise development.

•  Projects supported by the Government of India, State Governments, autonomous bodies, multilateral/bilateral agencies etc. 

Desired Skills:- 

i. Managerial

                     Strong project management and organizational skills.

                     Ability to lead teams, coordinate with multiple stakeholders, and manage field-level operations.

                     Capacity to build partnerships with government agencies, banks, NGOs, community-based organizations etc.

                     Experience in planning, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting.

ii. Behavioural

.  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

.  Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

.  Adaptability to dynamic, multi-stakeholder environments.

.  Commitment to social inclusion, equity, and empowerment of marginalized groups.

Ability to motivate, guide, and build trust among community members and team members alike.

Graduate degree in Management, Urban Planning, Social Sciences, Public Policy, Economics, or a related field.
