Core Responsibilities
Develop comprehensive project plans, including detailed
timelines, key milestones, and activity sequencing.
Create, monitor, and update project schedules using software
like Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project to ensure timely completion.
Plan and allocate resources, including manpower, materials,
and machinery, to optimize project efficiency.
Identify potential risks, develop and implement mitigation
strategies, and create contingency plans to address delays and disruptions.
Assist in developing and managing project budgets and cost
estimates.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, ensure
adherence to plans, and resolve issues as they arise.
Collaborate with project managers, stakeholders, suppliers,
contractors, and other engineering teams to facilitate smooth project
execution.
Prepare and present project progress reports, analyses, and
other relevant documents to management and stakeholders.
Ensure adherence to project specifications, quality
standards, safety regulations, and legal requirements.
Key Skills & Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction
Management, or a related field is typically required.
Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project is essential.
Strong understanding of project management principles and
methodologies.
Ability to analyze project data, identify trends, and
develop effective solutions to complex problems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for
reporting and stakeholder collaboration.
Meticulous and detail-oriented to manage project specifics
and potential risks effectively.
Experience:
Min. 5 Years for B.Tech or Min. 10 Years for Diploma holders.
Area Of Experience:
Experience in work planning for construction work,
preferably shall have working knowledge in planning applications like Primavera P6 & Microsoft Project.
